The Dark Side nominated for BVA award
The Dark Side, part of Content creation business Hangar Seven, is delighted to announce its nomination, by Lionsgate, as Supplier of the Year at the British Video Association (BVA) Awards 2015. As London's newest specialist entertainment creative agency, the nomination is vindication of the effort we've put into delivering innovative and engaging creative for all of our clients.
The Awards acknowledges the importance of suppliers to the film industry and win or lose, it will be a thrill just to be there on the night. The ceremony and party, held at Tobacco Dock in June celebrates (in style!) all that's great about Home Entertainment.
Since launching in May last year The Dark Side has delivered some of the industry's biggest and most complex projects, including the first major cross-studio Christmas gifting campaign and an industry-first digital and mobile campaign for Lionsgate. In fact, a significant number of the projects we undertook for our clients are competing for their very own BVA awards! Projects for Universal, Sony Pictures, Lionsgate and Wuaki.tv have meant we have grown quickly in our first ten months, allowing us to recruit some amazing talent along the way.
Which brings us neatly to the appointment of Sharon Coyle as Senior Account Director. Sharon's distinguished career includes positions at Warner Bros, Universal Music Group and Paramount Pictures, bringing many new weapons to our armoury.
