This press release is intended for investors only.

Partnership aims to expand access to age-appropriate treatment for children with heart failure across 17 markets

LJUBLJANA, Slovenia and MANCHESTER, United Kingdom, 20th August 2026, Lenis farmacevtika, a specialist pharmaceutical company focused on commercialising innovative medicines across Central and Eastern Europe, today announced an exclusive distribution and commercialisation agreement with Proveca, a global pharmaceutical company specialising in medicines for children, for Aqumeldi® (enalapril maleate) in the EU countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. In addition, Lenis is appointed to exclusively distribute and commercialise Aqumeldi® in non-EU markets of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.

Under the terms of the agreement, Lenis will commercialise and distribute Aqumeldi®, which has been approved by the EMA in November 2023.

Aqumeldi® is an orodispersible tablet containing enalapril maleate and is authorised in the European Union for the treatment of heart failure in children from birth to less than 18 years of age. The medicine was developed specifically for paediatric use and is available in low-dose, age-appropriate formulations and weight-based dosing.

The partnership combines Proveca’s expertise in developing and licensing medicines that address the unmet needs in paediatric care, with Lenis’ commercial infrastructure across Central and Eastern Europe.

“Children are not simply small adults, and they require medicines and formulations developed with their specific clinical and practical needs in mind,” said Dr Simon Bryson, Chief Executive Officer of Proveca. “Our partnership with Lenis represents an important step in broadening access to Aqumeldi® and supporting healthcare professionals treating children with heart failure across Central and Eastern Europe. Lenis’ specialist capabilities and strong regional presence make the company an excellent partner for this important medicine.”

“Aqumeldi® is a strong addition to our speciality medicines portfolio and directly supports our objective of bringing clinically meaningful therapies to patients with unmet needs in the CEE region,” said Richard Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Lenis farmacevtika. “Paediatric patients require treatment options that reflect their specific dosing and administration needs. We look forward to working closely with Proveca, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to support access to Aqumeldi® in Central and Eastern Europe.”
