Britvic appoints Brandhouse on Tango
Britvic has appointed Brandhouse, one of the leading brand agencies in the UK and Hangar Seven’s sister company, as its strategic and creative design partner on Tango following a two-way pitch process. The agency also works in partnership with Britvic on the brands Fruit Shoot and Teisseire.
The original project Brandhouse carried out with the Tango team in the early 90's introduced the iconic black can to the category, and this time, the pitch process has paved the way for equally exciting developments.
Mark Wickens, Founder of Brandhouse, commented: "Having made Tango famous through revolutionary branding and design in the early 90's we are absolutely thrilled to be working with this iconic brand again. The brand has much equity and latent love but the time has come to once again change the rules of the category in order to achieve the Tango team's vision".
Dean Lavender, Brand Manager for Tango, added: "We have huge ambition for one of the most iconic brands in our portfolio and are very excited to be working with Brandhouse to realise our goals. They have consistently demonstrated a great empathy for the brand as well as an understanding of its inherent DNA and connection with consumers. They also appreciate the importance of positioning Tango to stand out across a crowded and competitive carbonated drinks category".
